Carrie Hale services Saturday

   Funeral services for Carrie E. Hale, 65, St. Louis, and formerly of this area, will be 2 p.m. Saturday, May 12, 2001, in the Rose Chapel of the Robertson -Drago Funeral Home of West Plains, with the Rev. Clarence Burton officiating.
   Mrs. Hale died Wednesday, May 9, 2001, at her home.  She was born April 9, 1936, in Howell County, the daughter of Charles Eldon Roberson and Maudie Walker Roberson Koelling.
   On Sept. 15, 1952, she was married at Hardy, Ark., to Alvin Hale.
   She enjoyed quilting, sewing and loved spending time with her family and grandchildren.  Mrs. Hale was a wonderful friend and mother.
   She was of the Baptist faith.
   Survivors include her husband, Alvin Hale, of the family home; one son, Junior Hale and wife, Colette, Cahokia, Ill.; two daughters, Sue Hurst and husband, Bud, Lamay, and Mary Hill and husband, Mark, Steelville; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; seven brothers and sisters, Georgia Driver and husband, Marvin, Caulfield, Charles Roberson and wife, Rita, Forest City, Ill., Janice Duggins and husband, Gary, West Plains, Gerald Koelling and wife, Bonnie, Dale Koelling, and Lonnie Koelling and wife, Bonita, all of Mammoth Springs, Ark., and Nora Koelling, state of Indiana; a brother-in-law, Bob Ramsey, state of Indiana; and many nieces and nephews.
   She was preceded in death by her mother, Maudie Koelling; her father, Eldon Roberson; and her sister, Ellen Marie Ramsey.
   Burial will be in dry Creek Cemetery under the direction of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
