Burley Collins funeral Thursday

  Funeral services for Burley Collins, 74, West Plains will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Carter Chapel at West Plains with Elder Ira Johnson officiating.
  Mr. Collins died at 9:45 a.m. Sunday in West Plains Memorial Hospital. He was born Dec. 24, 1904, in Howell County, the son of the late Eck and Easter Collins.
  He was married March 18, 1926, in Howell County to Gladys Hicks, and he was of the Pentecostal belief.
  Survivors include 10 children, Reola Keene, Burley, Idaho; Roy Wheat, Vanzant; Louise Collins, West Plains; Edith Britt, Lynchburg; Lois White, Williamsville; Leslie Collins, White Church, Basil Collins, Camas, Wash.; Mabel Collins, Kansas City; Wanda Hill, West Plains; Charles Collins, West Plains; one brother, Bert Collins, West Plains; two sisters, Eva Pliler, Joplin; Delphia Cole, West Plains; 34 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren.
  His parents, two brothers, four sisters, one child and two grandchildren preceded him in death.
  Burial will be in Siloam Springs Cemetery under the direction of the Carter Funeral Home, West Plains.
