Brandy Tackitt services Friday
Funeral services for Brandy Dawn Tackitt, 17, West Plains, will be 2 p.m. Friday, Aug. 8, 1997, in the Rose Chapel of the Robertson-Drago Funeral Home of West Plains, with Brother Mark Bryant officiating.
Brandy died at 5:45 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 5, 1997, on Highway 181 in Douglas County. She was born April 27, 1980, at Springfield, the daughter of Jesse Gene Tackitt and Sandra Gay Collins Tackitt.
Brandy was a student at West Plains High School where she was active in cross country and track. She was employed as a waitress at Red Apple Grill. She was a member of First Assembly of God Church in West Plains.
Survivors include her parents, Jesse Gene Tackitt and Sandra Gay Tackitt, both of West Plains; one brother, Billy Gene Tackitt, West Plains; one half-sister, Chelcey Thompson, West Plains; her paternal grandparents, Harold and Faye Tackitt, Steele; her maternal grandparents, Bill and Darlene Collins, West Plains; her fiance, Michael Holmes, Dallas, Texas; and several aunts, uncles and cousins, including Stan, Karen and Tyler Collins, Teresa, Tabitha, Mandy and Cody McKee, Tom and Vicky Leonard and family, Lori and Frank White and family, Randy Tackitt and family, and Curtis and Margaret Tackitt and family.
She was preceded in death by her grandmother, LaVonne Tackitt; and her great-grandparents.
Burial will be in Howell Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home
