Services are pending at the Flahiff Chapel for Mrs. Bessie Ella Collins, 61, of 414 Freeport Street, who died Wednesday morning at a local hospital, following a two months illness.
Mrs. Collins was born Nov. 1, 1897 in Howell County, Missouri where she attended schools. She was married to Clarence Collins on July 20, 1914 at West Plains, Mo. Following their marriage they engaged in farming with Mr. Collins later becoming purchasing agent for various lumber companies at West Plains. In 1944 they moved to Vancouver, Wash., and came to Caldwell in 1945, where they have since resided.
Survivors include, in addition to her husband of Caldwell, five daughters, Mrs. Ada Johnson, Caldwell, Mrs. Edna Conley, St. Joseph, Mo., Mrs. Lena Fulk, Cresswell, Ore., Mrs. Beulah Coyle, Lodi, Calif., and Mrs. Donnis Stutheit, Lodi, Calif.; three sons, Plez, Connell, Wash., Fred, San Diego, Calif., and Carl Collins, Eugene, Ore.; three sisters, Mrs. Eva Brower, Caldwell, Mrs. Stella Gilbert and Mrs. Bertha Oakes, both of West Plains; two brothers, Birdine Johnson and Scott Johnson, both of West Plains, 23 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

Services for Mrs. Bessie Ella Collins, 61, of 414 Freeport street, who died yesterday, will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Flahiff Chapel. The Rev. E.S. Caldwell of the Assembly of God Church will officiate and vault interment will be in Canyon Hill.
