Funeral sevice for Bertha Jane Oaks age 90 West Plains will be at 2 pm Saturaday June 20 1998. In Rose Chapel of Robertson Drago Funeral Home West Plains, With Rev Bobby Brazeal officiaating.
Mrs Oaks died today at 12:50 am Thursday June 18 1998 at National Health care center West Plains'
She was born 12-30-1898 in Howell County Mo to Charles and Harriett Collins Johnson.
On July 7 19112 She married Ranel Frank Collins who prececed her in Death .
On May 25 -1929 She married Jon Andrew Oaks who preceded her in The 3-27-1956.
Mrs Oaks was Full Gospel Faith.
Survivers include, one daughter Nona Aoks west Plains, twp daughter in laws. Evely Oaks West Palains and Adeline Pomona, 31 grandchildren 75 g-grand children 11 g-g-grandchildren and serveral nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in diath by seven sons Elme Collins,Ernie Collins,Eddie Collins, Everet Collinst, Ralph Oaks, Wilbert Oaks and Gilbert Oaks, six grandchildren , four sisters and three brothers, and three daughter in laws.
Memorials may be made to the Oak cemetery fund.
Burial will be in Oak Grove cemetery.
