Benjamin F. Collins Of Siloam Springs Dies In Hospital Here

   Benjamin Franklin Collins, Siloam Springs, died at last midnight at Christa Hogan Hospital where he had been a patient for the past 24 hours.
   Mr. Collins was in poor health for the past 10 months and critically ill since suffering a stroke last Monday.
   He was born May 20, 76 years ago in Ozark County to the late Bud and Lucy Jones Collins.  He spent his entire life in Howell and Douglas counties where he was engaged in farming.
   On Dec. 13, 1906 he married Alice Johnson.  She died July 21, 1946.
   Surviving is a daughter, Mrs. Lewis Wake, Siloam Springs; four sons, Harlin Collins, West Plains, Cletus Collins and Olin Collins, Siloam Springs, and Nelson Collins, Pine Lawn; 16 grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and a sister, Janie Jones, Worth, Ark.
   Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon at Siloam Springs.  Burial will be in Collins Cemetery under the direction of Robertson Funeral Home.

Benjamin F. Collins' Funeral services Held Yesterday Afternoon

   Funeral services for Benjamin Franklin Collins were held at 2 o'clock yesterday afternoon at Siloam Springs with the Rev. Ira Johnson officiating.
   The Rev. Ira Johnson, Mattie Johnson and Zora Bunch san "Rock of Ages," "That Is Where I want To Go" and "Heaven Holds All To Me."
   Pallbearers were Joe Collins, Elmer Collins, John Gilbert, Fred Stubbs, Everett Stubbs and Wayne Stubbs.
   Burial was in Collins Cemetery near Grimmett under the direction of Robertson Funeral Home.
