Funeral services for Alpha Clara Collins, 95, West Plains, will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 20, 2000, at Dora Assembly of God Church under the direction of Robertson-Drago funeral Home of West Plains.
Mrs. Collins died 1:25 a.m. today, Monday, Sept. 18, 2000, in West Vue Home, West Plains. She was born May 2, 1905, at Dora, the daughter of Sherman and Mary Jane Owens Hall.
On Sept. 2, 1921, she was married at Dora to Elzey Franklin Collins, who preceded her in death Aug. 13, 1986.
Mrs. Collins was a member of the Church of God and attended Dora Assembly of God Church for many years.
Survivors include tow children, Eloise Epley, Dora, and Eugen Collins and wife, Leona, Montclair, Calif.; a special family member, Estel Smith and wife, Ila, Dora; five grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two brothers and six sisters.
The body will lie in state 2 p.m. Tuesday until 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Family visiatation will be 7 to 8 p.m. Tuesday.
Burial will be in Parsons Cemetery under the direction of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
