Alma Beulah Belcher

   Alma Beulah Belcher, 77, of West Plains, Mo. died at 9:15 a.m., Friday, May 2, 2003, in Ozarks Medical Center, West Plains.
   Mrs. Belcher was born Dec. 26, 1925, near Siloam Springs, Mo., the daughter of the late William Riley "Will" and Ida Jane Collins.
   On Aug. 21, 1944, she was married at Salem, Ark. to Theodore "Theo" Belcher who preceded her in death July 11, 1988.
   In her married life, Mrs. Belcher and her husband, Theo, lived at Crider, Mo.  They enjoyed spending time gardening and attending auctions.  Mrs. Belcher like to quilt, sew and loved flowers.  She enjoyed spending time visiting with her friends and especially spending time with her children and grandchildren.
   Later, she moved to West Plains where she said she "always had really good neighbors."  Mrs. Belcher enjoyed visiting with her neighbors and always appreciated them checking in on her.  She loved to sit in her favorite chair, look out the door and watch every thing go by, particularly the birds and squirrels.
   Mrs. Belcher is survived by six children, Loyal Belcher and wife, Waynette, of West Plains, Mo., Freddy Belcher and wife, Lisa, of Cureall, Mo., Shirley Welch of West Plains, Mo., Ruby Collins and husband, Allan of West Plains, Mo., Sherry Smith and husband, Bill, of Pomona, Mo., and Loretta Evans and husband, Eddie, of West Plains, Mo.; 20 grandchildren; six step-grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; one brother, Dophis Collins and wife, Leah, Willow Springs, Mo.; two sisters, Ollie Brixey of Parma, Idaho and Helen Levey and husband, Phil, of Meridian, Idaho; and several nieces and nephews.
   She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband; two sons, Marvin Belcher and Leroy Belcher; one grandson; one granddaughter; two sisters; two infants brothers; and one son-in-law, Lavern Welch.
   Mrs. Belcher will be lovingly remembered by her family and friends.
   Funeral services for Alma Beulah Belcher was held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, May 6, 2003, in the Rose Chapel of the Robertson-Drago Funeral Home with interment in Parsons Cemetery under the direction of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
