Alice Nancy Mayfield, daughter of the late Henry and Essie Lovans Ecton, was born August 30, 1900 in Douglas County, Missouri near Twin Bridges and departed this life January 17, 1978 in Kellings Clinic, Waverly, Missouri at the age of 77 years, 4 months and 17 days.
She was married in 1918 at Roosevelt, Missouri to Ernest Collins, who preceded her in death. She was married in 1921 at Roosevelt, Missouri to Floyd Tooley, who preceded her in death. She was married in 1944 at West Plains, Missouri to Curtis Mayfield.
She is survived by two sons, Arlin Collins, West Plains, Missouri and Jasper Tooley, Carrolton, Missouri; one daughter, Mrs. Gwenlyn Brotherton, Longview, Texas; two sisters, Mrs. Gladys Bunch, West Plains, Missouri and Mrs. Adnas Elliot, Willow Springs, Missouri; one half brother Hugh Ecton, West Plains, Missouri; fourteen grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, one half sister, Hattie Johnson, one daughter, Mable Tooley, and one son, Donald Tooley.
She was a member of the Baptist Church.
