Alice A. Collins Rites Wednesday

  Funeral services for Alice Amanda Collins, 77, West Plains, will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the Rose Chapel, Robertson-Drago Funeral Home, West Plains, with the Revs. Ira Johnson and Leroy Lovan officiating.
  Mrs. Collins died Sunday at 12:30 p.m. in the Mtn. Grove Nursing Home. She was born Sept. 11, 1900, at Roosevelt, Mo., in Douglas County, the daughter of the late Joseph and Anna Lovan White.
  On Aug. 28, 1919, she was married in Douglas County to Hobert Collins who preceded her in death April 4, 1975.  She was of the Christian faith, having been baptized as a young girl.
  Survivors include a daughter and three sons, Mrs. Earl (Eva) Gilbert, West Plains; Winfred Collins, West Plains; Wilfred Collins, Theodosia; Junior Collins, Hermann, MO.' 16 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren and two sisters and a brother, Elma Thompson, Dora; Retta Roper, West Plains; and Harley White, Willow Springs.
  Preceding her in death are her parents, her husband, five daughters, one son, two brothers and one sister.
  Interment will be beside her husband in Inman Cemetery under the direction of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home, West Plains.
