Alene Collins services Wednesday
Graveside services for Alene Mattie Collins, 60, West Plains, will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 6, 2001, at Oak Lawn Cemetery, with Evengelist Neale Phipps officiating under the direction of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home of West Plains.
Mrs. Collins died 12:40 a.m. Sunday, June 3, 2001, at her home. She was born May 19, 1941, at West Plains, the daughter of Orval Eugene and Lucille Phillips Thomas.
On May 23, 1962, she ws married at West Plains to Wilbert Collins.
Mrs. Collins was of the Protestant faith.
Survivors include her husband, Wilbert Collins, of the family home; five children, Bobby Collins and Tammy Thomas, both of Kansas City, Debbie Smith and husband, Jerry, Cabool, and Dale Collins and wife, Audrey, and Randall Collins and wife, Cynthia, all of West Plains; nine grandchildren, Matt Collins, Kenneth Shawn Thomas, Crystal Smith, Ashley Collins Bradley Smith, Tory Collins, Kaige Colling, Harley Collina dn Grayson Collin; several brother-in-law and sisters-in-law; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and one sister Imogene Fry.
Memorial contributions may be made tot he American Cancer Society and left at the funeral home.
The body will lie in state 2 p.m. today until 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral hom. Family Visitation will be 7 to 8 p.m. today.
