| From the West Plains Daily Quill, April 21, 1989 Adah Jane Lung services Sunday Funeral services for Adah Jane Lung, 71, West Plains, will be at 1:30 pm Sunday, April 23, 1989, in the Rose Chapel, Robertson-Drago Funeral Home. Mrs Lung died at 8:45 am, Thursday, April 20 1989, in Ozarks Medical Center. She was born June 25, 1917, at Elk Creek, the daughter of John and Ollie Roberts King. She received her elementary and secondary education in the schools of Thomasville, and on Feb 27, 1939, she was married at Cull to Emery Clyde Lung. Mrs Lung had been active in many singing associations throughout the area. She was of the Christian faith and recently had attended the Langston Street Church of God. Survivors include her husband, Emery Lung, West Plains; one daughter, Sharon Ward and husband, Kenneth, Koshkonong; six grandchildren; one step granddaughter; four great grandchildren; one step great grandchild; three brothers, Clay King and Calton King, both of West Plains, and Delton King, Bartlesville, Okla; and several nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death are her parents, one son, Jerry Lung, two sisters, and four brothers. Burial will be in Oak Lawn Cemetery under the direction of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home, West Plains. |
