Salvation
I am writing this to all those people who are not saved. I want to tell you about the wonderful God I serve and how you can know him too. First of all I want you to know and understand that God loves you. You don't have to do anything to make him love you, he just does. This is a kind of love that will give you joy and chnge your heart. If you accept Christ you don't have to all of a sudden be perfect. God is not looking for perfection cause he will create in you. He has given his son Jesus Christ, as a sacrifice for your perfection, be cause you are imperfect (Romans 5:8). If you accept him them all of your sins (past, present, future) will be washed away and Christ will take the blame for them. I want you to know how valuable the sacrifice of Jesus is. Take a moment and think about the item or possession you have that you value most. Picture it in your mind and think of why you prize it so much. Now, imagine that you willingly and without regret, give that possession up to save the life of your worst enemy. That is what God did. He gave his most precious possession, his son, to save people who hated him. That is how much God loves you. God wants to show you his love regardless of what you've done or are going to do. He doesn't care if you ever become perfect in all your ways, he just wants you to fellowship with him and put him first in your life. By doing this you will be blessed beyond all you could ask or think (Ephesians 3:20). If you want to receive Christ as your personal Lord and Savior, all you must do is pray this simple prayer. Lord, I know that I am a sinner. I know that through my sins I have been seperated from your glory. I ask you right now to come into my heart and show me your wonders. I thank you for loving me and sending your son to die for me that I might have abundant life. In Jesus name I pray, Amen. If you have just received Jesus as your savior, please let me know through my guestbook or my email. I want to rejoice with you in your new found freedom and also help you learn more about the benefits to having the love of God in your life.

Baptism of the Holy Spirit
The Baptism of the Holy Spirit is the best part of being a Christian. It is was allows us to understand the word of God and with out the Spirit you cannot understand God. The Spirit is the one who helps you communicate to God and you have to be one with or in union with the Spirit in order for him to intercede and give you understanding of God (Romans 8:26). Your brain is not capable of understnading God for it is weak. It cannot submit itself to God's laws for it is hostile toward God (Romans 8:7). However, the mind of the Holy Spirit is life and peace (Romans 8:6). That tells us that the power of God lies in the Holy Spirit. Jesus said in John 10:10 that he came that we might have life and have it more abundantly. He is also the one who allows for us to receive the Holy Spirit. John the Baptist said that Jesus would baptize us in the Holy Spirit. That is because Jesus was the first to be filled with the Spirit. That is what allowed him to fulfill the prophecy. It wasn't until after he received the spirit that he perform his first miricle. If the son of God needed the Spirit then how can we be productive Christians without it. How did Jesus receive the Spirit? My religious people would hve you believe that he comes when you get saved or when you get baptized with water. However, neither of these are true. First of all, we are not equipped to receive the Sprirt until after we are saved. John 14:17 says that the world cannot receive the Spirit because it knows him not. So until you are given access to it you can't receive it. Just like you can't access your e-mail without the password. Jesus is the password to the wonders of God. Once you have Jesus just ask God to release the Holy Spirit to you because Jesus said you could have it. Secondly, John the baptist said that he baptize with water for the remission of sin. That means that water baptism is a symbol or confirmation of forgiveness of sin. That has nothing to do with receiving the Holy Spirit. It is true that Jesus received the Spirit soon after his baptism. However it was not because of the baptism. Luke 3:21& 22 states; " ...when Jesus also had been baptized, and [while He was still] praying, heaven was opened and the Holy Spirit descended upon Him..." The key word in the passage is praying. If Jesus had to pray to receive the Holy Spirit then that means we do too. No one can say that Jesus did not know God. That means that he received the Spirit after he was God's. That means we can only receive it after we are saved. Also Jesus had to pray and receive the Spirit and so do we. I urge you right now, if you don't have the Spirit live inside you, to ask God you send him. Your ministry will never be complete or go as far as God wants it without the Holy Spirit.
