God and his Promises
What is the truth?  Many people claim they know, but what do they really know.  I want to share with you what I believe to be the truth about the wonders of God.  There are so many people who believe that God is a complicated being to understand.  However, the truth is he's not.  The most basic truth we need to understand is the unconditional love of God.  Many people don't believe in it even though they think they do.  They tend to go about believeing if they mess up they have to start doing better before they can come back to God.  But we fail to realize if it weren't for our imperfections we would not need God to begin with.  God loves us no matter what we do.  He accepted you once as a sinner and he forgave you for all your sins past, present and futrue.  The only way to fall away from God and his blessings is to deny yourself his love and grace.  There is nothing you can do to make God love you any less than he does.  Thats what unconditional love is, he loves you no matter what.
Now that we understand God's love, what does it benefit us?  God promised in his word to meet all of our needs according to his riches in glory (Philipians 4:19).  If you think about it, God created the world, therefore everything in the world is his.  If he has everything then he can not only meet your needs but give you even more on top of that.  "Now to Him Who, by (in consequence of) the [action of His] power that is at work within us, is able to [carry out His purpose and] do superabundantly, far over and above all that we [dare] ask or think [infinitely beyond our highest prayers, desires, thoughts, hopes, or dreams]" (Ephesians 3:20).  If he will freely give us jesus he will freely give us all things.
Knowing this we must understand that he has already provided for all of our needs through Christ's death on the cross.  Everything is a done deal, all we have to do is receive.  To do this we must understand the laws of faith.  Its just like understanding the law of gravity.  Even if you don't know it exists, it still works.  The first thing we need to understand about faith is that you don't need any more of it.  The bible says God has given everyone
the measure of faith (Romans 12:3).  The major thing working against peoples faith is doubt.  This does not mean we don't have faith but that doubt is working against our faith.  It like a tug-a-war, there are two things pulling in opposite directions and niether is getting anywhere.  Jesus said "If you have faith and doubt not" (Matthew 21:21) you can have whatever you say (John 15:7).
The last thing we must understand is where to direct our faith.  God has already provided for us, so continually asking him to move is like saying he didn't get it right the first time.  The bible says that if we say unto this mountain be lifted up and cast into the sea, and do not doubt in our hearts, but believe that it will happen, it will be done for us (Mark 11:23).  The mountain can also be called our problem or our need.  God is telling us to resist the devil and he will flee from
YOU (James 4:7) or speak against your problems and call them into submission.  God created this world with his words, and he has given us control over it with ours.
I believe that if you understand these simple truths them nothing will be impossible to you or for you.
