BREAD

:
BANANA NUT BREAD......Submitted by Brenda Mathes Hancock


Ingredients:

1/4 - Cup shortening
3/4- Cup sugar
2- Eggs
2- Cups"Jiffy" baking mix
1- Cup mashed ripe bananas (2-3 medium)
1/3- Cup chopped nuts

Instructions:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Grease 9"X5" loaf pan (1-loaf)
Cream the shortening and sugar.
Combine remaining ingredients and mix until well blinded.
Pour into prepared pan and bake for about 55 minutes.
Cool on rack before slicing.
