JBW will make it's return live on Pay Per View, August 16th from Freehold, New Jersey, but how this came to be is the real story here.
JBW will make it's return as a V-fed, or a Virtual Wrestling Federation. The former wrestlers of JBW will draft 4 wrestlers each from the hit game Wrestlemania X8, and will compete as those wrestlers in a weekly show, and a monthly Pay Per View. This decision was made by Danny Violence, the owner of JBW. He ran it past the Board of Driectors, and his fellow wrestlers, and they all signed up for the V-wrestling idea. "This will get us back on television after an absence that was way to long," says Danny Violence. "We're ready to get back to work and have some fun with this federation, and I will promiss you, that you will see some competitive wrestling as soon as the first match starts for Hardcore's Bash II."
This decision was aided by the fact that many of the wrestlers have been injured due to the hostile nature of the JBW enviorment. Ace and Illusion had major back problems because of the hardcore wrestling they did in JBW. "I had to have surgurey, and couldn't lift many heavy things for a while," says Ace, Comishiner of JBW and still, current Hardcore Champion. "I was in a hospital bed durring the Christmas season because of the inguries I sustained wrestling for JBW, and defending the Hardcore title that I still own." The draft date has not been set, but inside cources say that it will probably take place either late today, or tomarrow. "JBW is back for a while," says Danny Violence, "and I don't expect it to fade away. If it goes out, it's going out with a bang." |
