Speech & Language related information
Here are some terrific sites with free speech and language activities for all ages.  These ideas range from suggestions of ways to be aware of communicating with your child as you go about your day with him/her to short games, rhymes or crafts that take minutes.  You will be suprised at what you will come up with on your own after devoting just a short time per day on some structured activities.

This is also the page where you will find the links to help in understanding those cryptic evaluations you will be reading.  The evaluations are an additional tool in knowing if you have the correct speech pathologist for your child's needs.  Your speech pathologist should be able to explain the short-hand (IPA symbols) and vernacular found on these evals.

Special thanks to Dr. Peter Ladefoged, Professor of Phonetics, Emeritus Canon of the Cathedral Church, Los Angeles, CA for the incredible IPA (International Phonetic Alphabet) chart. You simply must see this to appreciate it's intricacy.

Also, thank you to Kenneth Beare of about.com for the consonant, vowel and dipthong interpretives.
