| OTTER rules are posted in the classroom and are in the student handbook. These rules apply in class and in any other class we may be visiting. This year in second grade my discipline plan is as follows. It is easy to follow and the kids will have reminders throughout the day if needed. First infraction: students number written on board Second infraction: yellow triangle placed on students desk as a visual reminder. Third infraction: student moved to my table Fourth infraction: Red hexagon placed on desk, and a note sent home for parent signature. |

| Discipline Plan and Class Rules |
| Students can also earn "Gotcha Tickets" throughout the day and week. They will earn tickets for being caught doing the right thing, good behavior, being ready, sitting quietly, etc. They will be able to redeem their tickets for prizes at the end of the week. There will be different prizes for different amounts of tickets. Rows with the most "table points" during the week will also earn a treat on Friday. |
| Stickers are given each Monday that the student's return their Friday Take Home Folders. These folders must be signed and returned for a sticker to be awarded. After 9 consecutive stickers are earned (9 weeks are in each marking period) the students will get a prize. Don't forget to sign the signature sheet and review all of your child's work for the week. |
