| Every year the choir has fund raising events througout the year to pay for their trophies as well as trophies for the Fairbanks students talent show. It also helps pay for their own t-shirts they will wear for their end of the year program. |
| The MHS Choir sponsored the annual "Talent show" It was held February 28th at the MHS Multipurpose Room for Fairbanks students . The winners are listed in the "Special Recognition" page. "Follies" a talent show for MJSH students will be held April 17th for MJSH students. Both of these events are fund raisers for the choir & have been very successful in the past. We really have some great talent in our schools. |

| January 26th the MHS Choir traveled to the University of Arizona for their annual Solo & Ensemble Festival. Soloists, duets, trios, small groups & one large group sang for a grade (good, excellent or superior) given by a judge. Some of our soloists also audition for All Regional Choir. |
| February 6th a small group of 4 attended the annual "Honors Choir" held by Eastern Arizona College Music Dept. Our students sang with other students from the Southeast area schools. They will rehearse all day and in the evening they performed in the Fine Arts Auditorium. It was beautiful. |
| April 16th the MHS Choir will also send a Large Group Ensemble to sing before three judges at EAC. We hope for another Superior rating. |
| In May the choir will perform a musical review "Cinemagic" for the end of the year concert. The band will be performing their end of the year concert also. We will give awards achieved throughout the year after the performance. We hope you will attend and continue to support the music program at Morenci.. |
