Ran in Houston August '03 and did ok. Just found out that they are having another derby in October '03 in Houston so this old car will be going again. |

This car has been ran three years and has a possibility of going again. It still runs. |

After sitting out two years this car is being prepped for another derby. August 1st and 2nd 2003 in Houston. I am going to give her one last shot to see just how tough this old Lincoln is. |

Missed the money by one car all three years and according to a few fans I should have been there because I was called before a car that had sat twice as long but he was a buddy of the officials so you figure it out.

Did some minor damamge to the front end the last time I ran it so I had to make a few modifications including a new bumper and drivers side fender. Did this before I decided to actually run it again. When I decided to actually go again I cut all of the old mods off and replaced them with parts that would pass inspection at the arena. |

Gotta love those side impact beams in the doors. They have kept the panels off of me for three years. Hopefully they still got one more in them. |

Got just a little bit of trash thrown in the back but a few minutes of cleanup and we'll be ready to go again. |

I have replaced the front end and installed a new core support in hopes of running it one more time. After sitting two years I dropped in a new set of points and fired it. Had to have the tranny welded beecause I busted the tailshaft housing playing in the yard. Hit a tree a little too hard I guess. Should be ready to go in no time. Got to get a new back bumper too. I ripped this one off trying to move it so that I could work on it. Oh well just adds one more thing to the list of things to be done in less than three days. |
