Gene's Truck

Here is my friend Gene with his truck.

Its a 1976 HD Half Ton.  It had a small block 400 in it that he had rebuilt while in High School.  Soon there will be a 454 Big Block in its place.  The small block currently breaths via Black Jack headers and 2 1/4" pipes with crossover pipe to 3 chamber Flowmaster mufflers.  Transmission is a Turbo 350 with stage 2 shift kit with hardened parts transfers power out to the part time converted 203 transfer case.  Axles consist of a open Dana 44 up front and a Eaton Posied GM 12 Bolt rear end, soon to be replaced with a 14 Bolt.  The tires are 39.5" x 15.5" Super Swampers on 16" black steel wheels.  The truck rides on a 4" Rancho lift (Springs in Front, Blocks in Rear)  with RS9000s all around along with Energy Suspension body and transfer case mounts and a 2" body lift.  With a fiberglass cowl induction hood, Lund visor and fast back all painted to match the rest of the truck.  The color is from a 1996 Corvette Blue with added colors to clearcoat.  To cover some of the massive tires Cut-out Bushwacker Flares were added, with matching bumpers, looks very sharp!  Lastly the bed is outfitted with diamond plate bed caps and a diamond plate storage box to match.

If you have any
questions about Gene's Truck E-mail him.
