age 32, Joel, age 2, and Emma T., age 5
months, and Sarah J. Cox, age 65.
All were born in South Carolina.
Benjamin moved to
Clarendon District sometime between 1850
and 1860.
According to the
1860 Census of Clarendon District, South
Carolina, B. M. Tindal, age 40, was a
mechanic and his personal property was
valued at $100.00. Other in the
household were Charlotte, age 42, Joel A.,
age 12, Emma, age 10, Sharine, age 8, and
Ben F., age 2.
According
to a letter from James F. Fleming (a
descendent), Benjamin moved back to Horry
County sometime between 1870 and 1880.

1847.
2. Emma T.
Tindall was born in Horry County, South
Carolina during the month of March in
1850. In 1869, in Manning, South
Carolina, Emma married John McEwen
Fleming. Emma was buried at the
Pauley Swamp Baptist Church.
3. Sharine
Tindall was born in South Carolina about
1852.
4. Ben F.
Tindall was born in South Carolina about
1858.
