Well, call me crazy, but I've decided to do one more surrogacy! My last experience turned out to be so wonderful, rewarding, and perfect in every way, so I decided to help one more couple have a child. Everytime I read an update on the twins I can see just how much they are loved, and that has led me to the decision to do this again. This will be my last one, as I don't think my body can handle many more pregnancies!
I started looking for another couple to help about a month ago. I wanted to find someone and become good friends before starting to try for a pregnancy. I wasn't planning on starting until about May or June, so this would have given me a couple of months to get to know a new couple.
In the last month I talked with a few couples, and some seemed really great. It's really very hard to make a decision on who to help, as there are just so many couples out there looking for a surrogate. One woman in particular was fantastic, but unfortunately she was just really far away and things were just way too hard for us to work it out. I wish her the best of luck, mostly that she'll be able to carry a pregnancy herself, but if not that she finds the most wonderful surrogate in the world because she deserves it. But all was not lost, I do have a friend in New York now.
This brings me to the last couple I have been speaking with, Deb and Henry. They have been through a lot so far. They've had a couple of surrogates they were prepared to work with, but for various reasons, things just kept falling through. They were about to give up when we found each other. Just today I went to their house to meet them. The meeting went fantastic. They were both such down to earth people and I think we got along very well. We have been talking a few times everyday over the last little while, and I have a good feeling about this working out. I'm so very excited about the possibility of going through this wonderful experience again so soon!!!
I'll update as soon as things start progressing. I don't like to share a lot in my journal while we are trying to get pregnant because I'm always afraid by talking about it too much I might "jinx" things. So I'll keep it updated, but I won't start writing too much until I get pregnant :-)

Just wanted to say that I met with Deb again on Saturday and had a fantastic time. I feel so comfortable with her and just can't wait to get started! We chat everyday, many times and it feels like I've known her for so long.

I took the kids up to Deb and Henry's farm today. The kids had a blast with Henry. He took them on the tractor and showed them all the cows and they were thrilled. And Deb and I had a nice visit as usual :-)
