To celebrate Mother’s day our friend Wiwin invited Nance and the KHO crew
on a picnic to the Bali Botanical Gardens. The gardens, established by the
Dutch during colonial rule, overlook Lake Buyan.
With Nance,
Wiwin, her family and the KHO staff we were a party of 17. Wiwin transported
Nance and her family, and Nance’s green plastic Royal Throne on top the
car. Whilst

RADIO AUSTRALIA
RESTARTS BROADCASTS FROM
DARWIN
MELBOURNE TUESDAY MAY 15: Radio
Australia will begin broadcasts again from transmitters near Darwin for
the first time in several years. The Federal Government shut down the transmitters
on the Cox Peninsular as a cost cutting measure and listeners in Asia then
had difficulty in picking up any Radio Australia Signal. The transmitters
were sold to the British based evangelical broadcaster Christian Voice.
Radio Australia has now negotiated access to the transmitters. Radio Australia
says the new service will offer an extra 7 hours programming a day in English
and Indonesian.
