Tube Rotators for TelescopesBelow is a sample installation with a 10" Meade Schmidt Newtonian LXD-75 Telescope on a german equatorial mount. The instructions can be easily adapted to your mount and telescope. Step 1. Each package contains two tube rings custom made for your telescope and easy to follow instructions. ![]() Step 2. Assemble your telescope as usual. Step 3. Balance the declination axis with your average weight eyepiece that you use and lock the declination axis horizontally. ![]() Step 4. Place the Tube Rotators at both ends, leaving little space against the tube rings. ![]() Step 5. Tighten until the Tube Rotators can't be moved (can be readjusted later if desired). Remember these will support the weight of the telescope (particularly the lower ring), so proper tightening is important. ![]() Step 6. Loosen the tube ring knobs slightly until the tube slides easily. Step 7. Enjoy observing with the eyepiece at any position!

Notes: For this product to work properly, the telescope tube must be undistorted. To maintain pointing accuracy, the mounts mechanical axis should be parallel to the telescope's optical axis.
