The Bonconselhista
Movement is an organized effort by people Bom Conselho-born to get back
the traditions and history. The first goal of this group is to change the
current name of this city (Cícero Dantas) for its earlier name Bom Conselho. To
be bonconselhista means to take a pride in our northeasterner and peasant
origin as well as to remember of the heroics struggles of our people in
Canudos..
