Shogun/Zoom 400
This is my electric heli, the Shogun 400. It's relatively new on the scene but it's definitely a quantum leapp forward in micro-electric helis. My first electric heli was an MS Hornet. That machine was a big disappointment. However the Shogun more than makes up for it. This helicopter is more like my larger gas versions. Both in mechanics and performance. I've equipped my Shogun with a bruhless motor rather than using the stock brushed speed 400 that comes with it. I did add some carbon fiber upgrades from MJP Carbon. They include the gyro/tail rotor servo boom mount, battery extender plate and the tail rotor pushrod.

Here are the machine's specs:

HiMaxx 2500-4200 brushless motor w/8 tooth pinions (stacked)
Hacker heat sink on the motor
CC Phoenix 25 ESC (in govenor mode)
Berg 5ch Rx
HiTec HS-55 servos all around
Futaba GY-240 gyro
Kokam 3s 1500 LiPo battery or TP 3s 2100 LiPo battery
HiTec Eclipse Tx

Performance is outstanding. Although I haven't done aerobatics with it yet it looks to be a definite keeper and addition to the fleet.
