F16 Fighting Falcon

This is an approximate 1/5 scale model of the Fighter/Bomber used by the US Air Force. The model is almost entirely made of styrofoam covered with epoxy resin and fiberglass and reinforced with carbon fiber strips. It is powered by a YS 41 2 stroke engine mounted in the rear. It has pnuematic retractable landing gear as well.  It was built from a kit manufactured by Combat Models. Flight performance is excellent and looks spectacular on low level, high speed passes.
