| This is a listiing of my all time favorite movies broken into catagories. I recomend each one... | ||||||||||||||||
| Comedy | ||||||||||||||||
| Animal House: This is a no brainer. The Blues Brothers: Again, no brainer. Caddy Shack: This completes the trilogy of no brainers. (These three movies are a must see for everyone) Monty Python and the Holy Grail: Low budget, each actor had to play several roles because they didn't have the money for extras. Breaking Away: Story of a kid growing up in a small town and trying to discover who he is. Head Office: No, this is not a porno movie. It's a dark comedy about Corporate America and the souless people who run it. Not many people know about this movie and it's all star cast the includes Danny Davito and Eddie Albert. This is a cult classic, very hard to find. Better Off Dead: Oddball Comedy about a Teenager, a forieng exchange student, and his paperboy..."Where's my Two Dollars." Three Amegos: Ok, possibly one of the dumbest movies of all times but this is a list of my favorites and I find it funny. |

| Adventure | ||||||||||||||||
| Big Trouble in Little China: Kirt Russell is a would be John Wayne type hero who steps in the middle of a supernatural war in the heart of Chinatown. The Man who would be King: A pair of British Soldiers search for fortune in Kafiristan. This movie stars Sean Connery ad Micheal Caine. True Romance: A loner played by Christian Slater falls in love with a hooker, ends up with 5 million in cocaine and are chased by the mafia. Pulp Fiction: If you like action combined with unbeatable dialogue then you will love pulp fiction. This movie has it all as you follow the characters and the unknown contents of a briefcase. It is filmed in a quirky style not following a tradional timeline but instead jumping around in a sequence of short stories. Scarface: "Say hello to my little friend." This is one of the great lines from this epic ganster movie set in Miami involving Cuban drugdealers and Columbian druglords. Kelly's Heros: Great Cast including Clint Eastwood, Donald Southerland, and Carroll O'conner. This movie follows a group of soildiers as they search for stolen German gold. |

| Fantasy / Sci Fi | ||||||||||||||||
| Willow: In my opinion the simply the best fantasy film ever made, Fellowship of the Rings included. This movie brings you all the classic elements of a Fantasy Novel, The Quest, The Hero, The Wizard, The Thiefe, and The Warrier. It has Dwarfs, Faries, and Dragons. The movie lacks the special effects that later movies would come to reley on but instead chooses to focus on plot, acting, and direction. Dragonslyer: Considered to be one of the best fantsy movies by many. This involves a Dragon that terrorizes the Kingdom. The Dragon goes on a rampage when it's denied the annual tribute of a young maiden. Star Wars: This is the movie that started it all. Changing the style of Science Fiction from boring to exiting. This movie set the tone for all future Sci Fi Flicts. When this movie came out it was a measure of how cool you were by how many time you saw it. "May the fprce be with you." Godzilla (any movie except U.S. made version): Campy as hell but there is something appealing about watching the big lizzard crush a few buildings. Alien: Curl up on the couch, kick back with some popcorn, and put all the lights off in the room. This combines Sci Fi with Gothic Style Horror. Mom and Dad Save the World: Stupid movie but worth watching. A husband and wife team save Earth from the Evil Tod Spengo played by Jon Lovitz. The Evil Tod Spengo wants to blow up the Earth because it's bigger than his, "It's not the size of your Planet it's how you use it." You also get to see Kathy Ireland in a loincloth. |

| Misc. | ||||||||||||||||
| The Shawshank Redemption: Great Story. I can't stresss that this is a movie everyone should see. This is a difficult story to put into a catagory. It is a spellbinding tale of a man falsely convicted of murder and sentanced to two life sentances. Once in jail the story is told through the eyes of a fellow inmate played by Morgan Freeman. The Hudsucker Proxy: The Coen Brothers (Raising Arizona, Fargo, O Brother Where Art Tho) direct this quirky comedy of Big Business, Good vs. Evil and the invention of the Holahoop. Brazil: This is a savage vision of the 20th Century and one man's struggle to survive. The story feels as if it was a joint venture between George Orwell and Frank Kaufka. Released in 1985 it showcases the brillance of Terry Gilliam from Monty Python fame. |
