1:00 PM            Meadows                    Defeats                      Boulder Creek

I think that Boulder Creek had the ability to win this game, but they weren’t able to harness it enough to get the win.

 

2:00 PM            Highland        35                                            Sossaman/Hawes 33

Chase L. hit a buzzer beater three at the end of the game, but that only put Sossaman/Hawes 2 points within the tie, and they ended losing this game.

 

3:00 PM            Highland Groves  47                                     Eastridge 33

Highland Groves some players show up straight from a quading trip to the dunes, and with their help, they easily took care of Eastridge.

 

5:00 PM            Highland Ranch             Defeats                      Monterey

Monterey did not have a lot of experience at this game.  Tauvaga Eli, Andrew Pulsifer, Chanlder Love, and Trent Lewis all were absent from this game, so Monterey had the absence of a lot of experience.  Even without their experience, Monterey played a great game for their experience level.  They brought the intensity, but in the end Highland Ranch won big time.  This sets up a very interesting Highland Groves vs Monterey match-up next week.  The winner could end up with the second seed.
