Mmmm, basketball, basketball, basketball. The NBA Season has already kicked off, college has begun their season with tournaments all over the country, and high school basketball has just concluded it's pre-season tournaments and is getting its season underway. That puts us at the beginning of another long road, that if traveled, will lead down a path of hope, happiness, sadness, triumph, and defeat. A grueling journey that only one will complete. Its church ball, and its the journey to a stake championship. Beyond this is a treacherous trail that leads to the top of a high mountain that few have dared to traverse, and only several have summitted. It requires guts, desire, and will power. Someone who is driven to get there, to get it done, one who pushes himself to do his best, because only the best will reach the top. It is the path that leads to a district championship. There will be one who decides to take it all the way, to take it to the next level. It will be a long journey, but one, one will want it more than the others, one will desire the view from the top of this mountain more than all the rest, this is the one who will be ready, ready for the storm.
