This Weeks Games:

 

12:00 PM                    Meadows                    vs            Highland Groves

This should be a good game.  Meadows Dynasty takes on a Highland Groves team that is somewhat young, but definitely ready.  After watching Highland Groves scrimmage Highland Ranch last Wednesday at the Boulder Creek Stake Center, I saw that these guys are for real.  They are better than I first expected, and watch for them to make some noise and make a statement in this game that they are a legitimate threat for the top teams in the league this year, and that they belong among the top teams contending for a championship this year.  Scott H. and Jeremy G. will be a dynamic duo inside for this team, and Meadows is going to have to find a way to stop them.  When I stack these two teams next to each other, I see Highland Groves having the advantage.  I see experienced weapons on the Meadows team, but I see more weapons playing for Highland Groves.  I see Highland Groves winning this game and making a statement as I discussed earlier.

 

1:00 PM                      Sossaman/Hawes            vs            Highland Ranch

With the loss of Chris, I don’t see Sossaman/Hawes having an abundance of threats and weapons.  They will have some experience, but I see more experience and weapons on Highland Ranch’s side of the ball. They are reported to have most of their best players coming to this game, and if everyone that is rumored to play this year shows up and plays, then I see them having a great lineup.  I’ve only heard of one conflict in terms of Highland Ranch’s players coming to the game.  It is rumor that Ty W. has a conflict in the morning and is going to try to make it to the game, but with or without him, I see Highland Ranch winning this game.

 

2:00 PM                      Boulder Creek            vs            Eastridge

I know that I picked Eastridge to win this year, however I don’t think that this game is a win.  I see Kyson L. being too much of a presence inside for Eastridge to handle.  I see Blake D. coming up big for Eastridge, but I pick that in the end the scoreboard will read in Boulder Creek’s favor.

 

3:00 PM                      Monterey                   vs            Highland

I don’t see enough weapons on Highland’s side to match up with Monterey’s main players.  If Brain D. really does come to this game and play for Monterey, then I see it being too much for Highland to keep up with.  I think that the combined talent of Andrew P, Trent L, and Brian D. is too much for Highland to keep up with.  If everyone comes out for Monterey, then I see them winning this game.
