| There is no clear path or direction we are following for our commitment ceremony. We aren't arguing against or for marriage. By choosing not to have a wedding we are not judging those that do. We cherish and respect all committed relationships both illegal and legal with god(s) and without. All you need is love truth and trust. |
| Aubrie and I talked about commitment when we moved in together. We agreed that we didn't want a wedding and left it at that. After going to eight wedding in the past three years we wanted to have an event involving our family and friends to celebrate our commitment to each other. We rely a lot on our families' experience and advice to delegate and compromise in our relationship. We also rely on our friends to support us and give us different perspectives. So we are having a ceremony and party to recognize and celebrate the role and responsibility our family and friends have in the relationships we all share. |
