| Which way did they go? This piece is about 14 inches high. Made from a Harold Enlow rough out and carved with Gerald Sears style face. It is wood burned for accents on the face, hair and clothes. The rifle is made from a pattern in Carving Illustrated (Fall 1999, Pg. 114) by Dave Stetson. I have used this Winchester on several of my carvings and enjoy the improvement it makes. It is finished in acrylics, coated with an antiquing solution, and sealed with Deft Wood Sealer, three coats, bagged between coats. | |
