| Just thinking about the good old days. This piece is about 14 inches high. Made from a Gerald Sears rough out called the doorway cowboy. It is wood burned for accents on the face, hair and doorway. The rifle is from a pattern in Carving Illustrated by Dave Stetson (Fall 1999, Pg. 114) I have used this Winchester on several of my carvings and enjoy the improvement it makes. It is finished in acrylics, coated with an antiquing solution, and sealed with Deft Wood Sealer, three coats, bagged between coats. | |
