POETRY
Well, even though I love to read and write poetry, deep down inside I really hate poetry. Yes, it is weird, but it's the perfect love/hate relationship ;). Here is a couple poems.

Lost and Found

The day came and went.
Nothing was said at all.
I tried to reach out,
But there was nothing to grasp.
The feeling returned, the feeling of solitude.
These forces tear at my tortured soul.
I need to find a place for myself,
Within someone's heart.
A heart I can protect, and one which can protect mine.
A heart I can heal, and one which can heal mine.
The soul searching still continues,
Until all is lost, or all is found

Crutch

I Wish I was there
To warm your heart and dry your tears.
I am willing to be your crutch, if you will let me,
Until you get back on your feet.
I will do anything to help, anything at all.
Only time will heal this pain in your heart,
But I will do all I can to speed up the healing.
I feel your sorrow, your pain.
It's as though we are one and the same.
I will be the best friend that I can be,
So will you let me?

Forever in a Moment

The golden glow of the sun slowly slips behind the treetops on the mountain.
The radiant colors that spread from its shine bear down upon the lands.
The fall leaves are blowing in the wind, tossing and tumbling through the sky.
There is a slight chill in the air, as the sun glides behind the mountain.
Everything is perfect. Soon the moon will come out...and bury us in it's passionate fury.
Nothing can ruin this moment.
Just the two of us, alone...under the fading sun and rising moon...
The stars turning on one by one, just to light the dark sky for us.
Slowly the wind picks up, rustling her hair as it glows in the moon's light.
Her eyes speak to me louder than words, calling out my name.
Looking into them, I can see her heart and soul...so beautiful.

Stroll

Brisk night. A sharp breeze stings the cheek.
My shoelaces come undone. I quickly bend over to tie them.
I fall a step behind as she continues to walk on.
I pick up my pace to catch up to her.
Looking up ahead, the wind plays with her long, beautiful hair.
Slowing as I get close, I fall into a stride to match with hers.
The moon is glowing brightly in the night sky.
Side by side we glide up the side of the hill.
At the top, we climb a tree, and sit next to one another on a limb.
I steal a glance at her face.
She is gazing at the moon. It reflects in her gorgeous eyes.
Her face glows bright and beautiful from the light of the moon.
I return to looking up at the stars, as I feel our hands touch.
I smile. We sit side by side, not a word is said.
And the night lasts forever...
