IN THE WORKS
HEAR THAT !!
This diorama is a combination of three different styrene kits: Life-like Neanderthal Man , Glencoe Neanderthal Man and a Palmer Mastodon skeleton kit. I did very few changes to the male - just some extra hair and the signal hand, but I did a sex change to the other figure. Both original bases are combined. The mastodon skeleton had some hide areas added to the ribs and some filling out on the skull.

The diorama is painted a  faux bronze finish.
I believe the scale on this piece is 1/6th,  however, the mastodon is a different scale than the figures and lived millions of years before the humans. So, just a little artistic license. This buildup was published in Prehistoric Times Issue #69.

The story:

A male Neanderthal signals to his mate  {wait ! I heard something } as they forage for tool materials in a melting and muddy fields.
ALLOSAUR CHARGING

This diorama is a combination of resin and styrene pieces on a custom base: a one piece resin Dinosaur Studio Allosaurus, two Tamiya styrene Mesozoic animals and a couple of resin palm tree trunks, oh, and a weathered chicken bone with real teeth marks.

Just a basic out-of-the-box assembly and painting. I have the gray primer on the parts right now.
The base top is a brown air-dry clay with a nice piece of curly maple underneath.

The scale on this diorama is 1/35th throughout.

The story:

An Allosaur, charging down the lakeshore startles an early crocodile and sleeping Archaeopteryx.
