The briefcase issued to all 00 agents as standard equipment would save James Bonds life a number of times through out the movie. The case itself included alot of interesting features.
It featured:
A hidden knife
50 gold sovreigns
Tear gas cartridge
Room for a folding sniper rifle
Locks which trigger the tear gas
20 rounds of ammunition
The reason for James Bonds mission was to get ahold of the Lektor. This could then be used to de-code Russian top secret transmissions. It looked like a typewriter and had 24 symbols and 26 code keys.
This very small and simple device could tell you if the phone line you were talking on was bugged.
Disguised as a camera the back comes off to reveal a tape recorder. Tatiana tells James a description of the Lektor machine so that officials at MI6 can check wether the machine is genuine.
As a unique way to kill his victims Red Grant, a pyschotic killer, used an extremely thin piece of wire that extended out his watch to strangle his victims to death.
This nasty gadget was an invention of SPECTRE. It looked like a normal shoe but a click of the shoe and a metal spike would stick out from the front. Once the poisonous spike made contact with its target it would kill in 12 seconds. Klebb tries to get James with it in Venice unsuccessfully.
