| June 15, 2001 Hello, More work today on the website. When computers are not your gig, it is surprising how long it takes to figure out little things. Yesterday we bought a digital camera. We figure we need the most basic storage system to give us easy access to computers at the cyber cafes. Because of this, we purchased a Sony Mavica 87, which uses a 3.5 disk for storage. It is not going to give us the quality of picture we hoping for, however, it's main use is for e-mailing and does not need to be the highest quality. It will probably take a beating over the year, so it will not end up being our long term digital camera any way. A friend just returned from 2 months in Thailand. Sounds like he had great time and will be a good source of information. Also, another one of my brother's friends is quiting his job and traveling for 4-6 months. It is amazing how when you dive into doing something out there, you realize how it is not as out there as you had first thought. Remeber, everything is possible.....you just have to dream it up, and beging taking steps in the right direction. Peace, Brad and Jen |
