This quilt evolved gradually. I started with the floral print from Northcotts 2006 "Heaven Can Wait"
fabric line and after many trial blocks & layouts, this one appealed to me best

Border.....1" finished

This quilt is composed of the same block, in two different colorways, set on point

The blocks are paper-pieced

Paper-Piecing Tips:

When paper-piecing a block like the one above, I find
it easier to pre-cut my pieces so my fabric grainlines
will be near straight of grain.

However, when pre-cutting for paper-piecing, you must OVERSIZE
all pieces to allow for placement.
