After 8 years of looking at the same color... well it's time for a change. The original paint was finally fading and most of the clear coat was gone off of the hood. So the re-painting project has started.........
Between work and the rain, it's hard to find time to work on the paint! I finally got to spend a few hours on it today. I finished the primer coat and started with the white. So far I've gone through 4 cans of primer and 8 cans of white. Looks like I'll need 4 to 5 more cans of White to finish up.......maybe I can finish tomorrow if the weather cooperates!
I'm almost done. I've spent a little time each night working on the paint job. I should be able to finish up this weekend. I still need to paint the rear bumper. Then I need to remount the front bumper and lights. There is still some clean-up to do as well. I'll post more pics of the final product when it's done.
Got the rear bumper painted. Front bumper and lights are remounted. I still have a little cleaning up to do before it's driveable.
