| The Twins' First Birthday |

| Everybody is amazed at how quickly the past year sped by but we were very busy learning so many things and growing like little weeds. |
| As you can see, we had lots of fun eating our own personal birthday cakes. We sure are glad we are big enough to eat grown-up food even though we couldn't have chocolate cake like everyone else. It's no surprise that we both have a sweet tooth since the rest of the family loved the cake too. We did need a bath when we were all finished but Mommy thought the butter cream frosting made our skin nice and soft, if not a bit slippery. |

| We had lots of help from big sister Emily opening our presents and cards. Everything was fun, even the boxes and wrapping paper. It made us happy that so many of our family could be there to help us celebrate. In addition to Nana and Pop Pop who were staying with us, Grandma Jean, Granddad Marvin, Uncle Brad, Great Grandma Edna, Great Granddad Dean, Uncle Dennis, Aunt Danita and cousin Keegan were all there too. (Jayde wanted to be there but wasn't feeling well) |
