Summer Trip to Colorado 2006
On our annual drive to Colorado this year we decided to do some sightseeing along the way so we stopped at Springfield, Illinois to see the Land of Lincoln. It was certainly a worthwhile day. In the city there are such landmarks as the law office where Lincoln practiced, the home he lived in with his family before going to Washington, his grave site, a reconstruction of the Capital Building, the Lincoln Library and and wonderful interactive museum.

Once we arrived in Parker we had a fun two weeks taking the kids. Emily was attending a summer reading program each morning while we took Ian and Hayden on outings to different attractions in the area.
