Christmas
2006
Well, our luck held out this year as we landed in Denver just hours before a big blizzard hit the state.  By next morning there was over two feet on snow on the ground and it was still coming down.  It was three days later and three feet of snow to shovel before we got out of the house to shop for Christmas Eve dinner.  However, we did have lots of fun playing in the white stuff.
Here's Brian and Noelle in front of their home after shoveling out the driveway.  You can see how high the snow is by the front window
Ian and PopPop are all tuckered out after playing in the snow.
Some presents need a bit of help from Mom and Dad before they can be played with.
Great-Grand Parents are special.  They give you hugs and kisses, cookies and presents and unconditional love.
Sometimes it seems like the presents are never ending on Christmas morning.  You start with stockings, move on to Santa's gifts, then presents from Mom and Dad, Nana and PopPop, the neighbors on the street, the Great-grandparents, grand parents and aunts and uncles.  It's really incredible how many boxes get unwrapped.
Christmas Morning
What fun to have a sister to play with.  Here Emily and Hayden have done up each other's hair, with amazing results!
