The Crucible

Movie Assignment

Before we started watching the Crucible, I showed you all a short film that I had made to introduce you to the play. Your assignment is to create a similar movie. Using Windows Movie Maker I want you to create a film about The Crucible. Your movie should take the story we just read and put it into your perspective. Tell us the story through your eyes! Just make sure to include the following:

• Be sure that main characters are relatable to those that we read in the story.
• Remember, this is an interpretation so it must also stick to the original story line.
• Be creative, but use no vulgarity or inappropriate language (let’s keep it G rated please!!).
• This play has four acts; I’m sure that you can get one minute per act. Therefore, a minimum of four minutes!

Just remember that the point of this project is to show me that you read and understood the play. Be able to explain any of your choices if questioned.

E-mail me final copies no later than Monday and be ready to present them to the class on Tuesday.
