Pepsi posted a 14% increase in first-quarter profit on April 23rd, 2002, proving the fact that at economic downturn, soft beverage are more welcomed than before.
"It's really no fun," Mr. Berman said. "Think about spending on security in your house. Maybe you sleep better at night, but that's the best thing you get. What really gets users excited is spending on things that will allow them to do things they couldn't do before. Security spending isn't about that -- it's about insurance."
