| Shannon Hoon was the front man for Blind Melon. WIth his engaging vocal the band signed a $500,000 record contract with Capitol Records. While Shannon and his band were making records, he also fought a battle with a drug addiction. In the summer of '95 Shannon Hoon's Girlfreind Lisa Crouse gave birth to a baby girl, he showed her off at one of thier shows in Indianapolis. |
| In late '95 band members found Shannon dead in the back of their tour bus from a drug overdose. |
