| Layne Staley was the front man of the band Alice in Chains, with Laynes haunting and soulful vocal styling helped Alice in Chains to set apart from the other seattle bands. Over the years Alice in Chains put out 6 albums that were just awsome, He also got together with Mike McCready of pearl jam and Barrette Martin of Screaming trees and Mysterious baker and formed Mad Season, they only put out one album called Above. |
| In the year of 2002 Layne was found dead when police had busted in his home cause some of his family memebers were worried about him. Since he had locked himself in his home and no one saw him for a while.He had died of a mixture of Cocaine and Herion. |
