| John Lennon died when a deranged ex-fan Mark David Chapman, had asked him for an autograph and then waited six hours for John to return, before shooting him. When John died Yoko cremated his body and now it sits on a shelf in her apartment. Chapman ended up pleading guilty and received 20 years to life in prison. |
