When Jeff emerged in the mid-90's as one of the most gifted singer-songwritter of his generation.When Jeff would tour he would go and play at clubs, lounges and coffehouses. Jeff was aan early champion among young american musicians everywhere. |

| On May 29th, 1997 Jeff went swimming in the Wolf River in Memphis, Tenn. Where he latere drowned because the wake of a passing boat was to much for him to stay afloat and he was caught in the undertow. Later police said that no drugs, but very small amount of alcohol was found in his system. |
